Cultivating the Fruit of the Spirit

As followers of Christ, more is needed to possess knowledge of these fruits; we must actively cultivate them in our lives. This requires a daily surrender to the Holy Spirit, allowing Him to prune away the weeds of sin and selfishness so that the fruits of righteousness may flourish within us. Therefore, let us strive to bear fruit worthy of our calling as children of God. Let us love as Christ loved, rejoice in His salvation, and walk in the peace that He provides. May we extend longsuffering and gentleness to those around us, embodying the goodness and faith of our Heavenly Father. Let us be meek in our interactions and exercise temperance in all things, knowing that in doing so, we honor and glorify God.
